How to Start Using the Cedreo Application

To start using Cedreo, simply create your account with your email and activate it in one click, or sign in with Google or Facebook. You are ready to start designing your first project and explore all core features. The software is entirely cloud-based, so there is nothing to download or install, and no credit card is required to get started.
System requirements: Cedreo runs in your web browser, so it works on both Windows and Mac computers. Recommended minimum specs are a Core i5 processor (Core i3 may work), Windows 7+ or macOS 10.10+, and a reliable internet connection. You will need a mouse to draw and navigate effectively. For the best experience, use a high-resolution screen. Supported browsers include Chrome (recommended), Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.
- Create your account. Visit cedreo.com and click “Get Started Free.” You can create your account with your email or sign in with your Google or Facebook account. If you sign up with your email, you will receive a confirmation email. Click “Activate your account” in that email to confirm your registration. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, you will be taken directly to your dashboard. The free plan gives you one project, limited access to the furnishing and materials catalog, and 5 photorealistic 3D renderings with a watermark. This is enough to explore all of Cedreo’s core features and complete a real project.
- Explore the dashboard. Once logged in, you will see the Cedreo dashboard where you can create new projects, access existing ones, and manage your account settings. From the dashboard, you can also access the Help Center, which contains tutorial videos and help articles organized by feature.
- Access training resources. Cedreo provides several ways to learn the software quickly. Cedreo’s knowledge base has step-by-step text and video tutorials covering every feature, from drawing walls to generating renderings. When you subscribe to the Pro or Enterprise plans, you get a dedicated Success Manager who provides personalized onboarding and ongoing support via phone, chat, or email (Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern time).
- Create your first project. In My projects, click “Create my first project,” enter the project name and select your measurement unit (imperial or metric), and click on “Draw” to start drawing. You can either draw from scratch using the continuous wall drawing tool or import an existing floor plan in JPG, PNG, PDF, DWG, or DXF format. Cedreo’s interface is divided into clear modules: layout drawing, doors and windows, roofing, furnishing, materials, landscaping, rendering, plan details (surface area tables, symbols, etc.), and the folder with all plans (floor plans, site plan, roof plans, cross sections, elevations, presentation documents).
- Upgrade to get all features and new projects. If you need more projects, additional renderings, watermark-free images, downloadable plans, full furnishing catalog or team collaboration features, you should upgrade to a paid plan. Cedreo offers a Personal plan (one-time purchase for a single project with renderings), a Professional plan (with unlimited projects and renderings per month), and an Enterprise plan for teams with more renderings per user per month. All existing projects transfer when you upgrade. Cedreo accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.
The platform is specifically designed so that building professionals with no design background can create professional-quality floor plans and 3D renderings from day one.
